ENVIRONMENTAL POLICY

 The company MAVIHART SINGLE-PERSON IKE. constantly strives to improve the level of its activities, in such a way as to contribute to sustainable development and maximize its social and cultural contribution.

Το Σύστημα Περιβαλλοντικής Διαχείρισης της εταιρίας καλύπτει το all of the company's activities regarding the processing of paper cylinders and the marketing of paper & cardboard products και σχεδιάστηκε σύμφωνα με τις απαιτήσεις του Διεθνούς Προτύπου ΕΛΟΤ ΕΝ ISO 14001:2015, προσαρμοσμένο στις ανάγκες και τις επιδιώξεις της εταιρίας και τις Νομικές και Κανονιστικές Απαιτήσεις της ισχύουσας Ελληνικής και Κοινοτικής Νομοθεσίας.

In particular, the company is committed to the following: 

• To recognize and fully comply with the Environmental Legislation that governs each activity carried out by it, as well as with the needs and expectations of stakeholders (customers, staff, wider society, etc.).
• To recognize and evaluate the Environmental Aspects of its activities.
• To recognize the Environmental Impacts arising from the Environmental Aspects and to take the necessary measures to minimize them.
• To implement and continuously improve the Environmental Management System in order to improve its environmental performance.
• Monitor and measure Significant Environmental Impacts.
• To ensure the protection of the environment, including the prevention of pollution.
• To set clear, measurable, achievable, realistic and time-bound environmental objectives, to review them annually and to take all necessary action to achieve them. The general framework of the company's objectives is:
  • To educate and raise awareness among all company employees on issues of Environmental Management and Environmental Protection.
  • To provide the necessary resources for the implementation of the Environmental Management System and for the achievement of its Environmental Objectives.
  • To adopt specific environmental control rules in its internal operation (control of consumption, waste, supplies).
  • To share data and information regarding its environmental performance with relevant bodies, its partners and the community, if requested.

The company's commitment to the above environmental policy will be demonstrated by reviewing its environmental objectives at each Management review, as well as by the corrective actions that will be taken, in order to ensure continuous improvement and prevention of pollution.

The company believes that environmental protection is everyone's obligation and is committed to implementing every possible measure, process, and system to minimize negative environmental impacts and maximize the corresponding positive ones.
